LOCAL Newsroom. He presently oversees the company’s anchor/reporter staff of 14, spread across the
country in markets as diverse as Chicago, Dallas, Louisville, Grand Rapids and Kirksvillle, MO.
Forbis joins VirtualNewsCenter from Salem Communications’ Orlando cluster, where he’d worked as the

“We’re excited to bring Dale in at a time of strong growth in our company,” said founder Scott

help guide our pros to achieving the goals of the stations that trust us for their local news.
“What a wonderful challenge in the hi-tech, online world,” said Forbis. “Use all the resources of the web,
the talents of news professionals and the technology of the 21st century to do what I've tried to do for
more than 30 years -- keep the listener informed. There's a new mountain to climb every day.”
