While other companies scale back and whittle away at staff, America's LOCAL Newsroom continues to expand. Recent additions to the anchor staff bring decades of combined experience to the company’s proven team.

Virtual News Center helps companies deal with current downsizing effectively. One example is at KVOT in Taos, New Mexico, where DMC Broadcasting OM Jeff Singer says, “With downsizing, everybody is trying to find a way not to hurt the station or the listener. We found that, and believe that Virtual News Center fills a major hole for us.”

Bill Bumpas – North Little Rock, is the outstanding anchor impressing Taos, NM in addition to several other Virtual News Center markets. Bill worked in the Dallas market for 14 years where he won several Texas Associated Press Awards for news and sports reporting. He also anchored news in Kansas City and while there produced a national radio show for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

John Morris – Dallas comes to VNC as he continues a 25 year radio career. His stops have included radio stations Indianapolis, Memphis, and New Orleans, plus Texas towns like Abilene, Waco, Tyler, and now Dallas/Fort Worth. In addition to news at Virtual News Center, he produces the show for the legendary Dorsey Gang on KSCS in Dallas. His Virtual News Center station lineup includes WRPW in Bloomington-Normal, IL.

Jayme Monacelli – Kansas City, worked nearly a decade in Bloomington, Illinois before moving to Kansas City in 2007. Jayme’s work has earned her numerous awards from the Associated Press, Kansas Association of Broadcasters, and Missouri Broadcasters’ Association. She also has won multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards.

Sam Nelson – Jacksonville, has a career that spans 25 years, and during that time he has directed news programming for several all news stations, including WBMQ in Savannah, GA. Sam has also been heard in Coastal North Carolina, Norfolk Virginia, Jacksonville, Florida, and Cleveland & Columbus, Ohio.

These four anchors join a team of 23 pros that provide daily newscasts on over 160 stations.
